I cut out the A2 Cover Die from an old background. The background was stamped with a Taylored Expressions background stamp and heat embossed in light blue. Then I ink blended on it with Pinkfresh Paradise Ink, concentrating on the edges.

I had a dual purpose for these cards. I needed to create a card with an old kit or subscription for an Instagram hop and I needed sample cards for my next giveaway. So I created these three cards with the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for November 2021. It’s a slimline die set and it’s called Christmas Foliage Strip and Borders. It consists of four curved slimline border dies and layering dies for the Christmas-themed border. See the labeled die set below.

These are not exactly traditional holiday colors. To make it a little more holiday-ish, I used Gold embossing powder for Citron.

I made these cards for a giveaway on Instagram. You can also watch a video with these cards.

I created a simple spreadsheet of my giveaway posts. The purpose of my giveaways is twofold - to clear out products I don’t use and to increase my Instagram follower count. On the question of if giveaways increase follower counts, I can definitely say yet. My follower count increased on average by 3.78 with each giveaway. The best one increased the count by 15. Given that I currently have 697 followers, that’s significant.

This giveaway celebrates that I’ve reached 500 followers on Instagram. Super happy about that!
