Very Scandinavian

The listing that has a review was sold out, so today I’ve been making more of it. The background is a playful Scandinavian spring pattern with bird houses, dala horses and flowers in green. On top of that is a die cut moose in the same pattern, just a bit more saturated. All this on Kraft card stock.

But I didn’t just want to make more of the same. I wanted to offer more variety. I had two ideas:

  • create the same design on white card stock

  • replace the moose with a bear.

I ended up doing both. Here’s a photo of white card stock bears and moose in a mandala shape. I took it to share on Instagram.

Then I thought it would be nice if I offered a mixed bundle of the moose and the bear, rather than single species bundles. But just two animals feels a bit average. So I looked through my dies and found a hare. It’s not to scale with the moose and bears, but it’s in a style that goes very well with the Scandinavian spring theme. So I’m going with it.

This is something I love about crafting. One idea sparks another, and before you know it, you have a whole menagerie. 🧸🐰🐈‍⬛
