This minimalist black birthday card will appeal to anybody who loves black and high-drama design: Goths, minimalists, art deco lovers, designers and many more.
It's a simple card design: I start by cutting out the three letters in the middle of a black card panel. Then I apply foam to the back, to raise the panel off the card base. I center gold cardstock on the card base. Then I glued the black panel on top.
This sounds simple, but there's no room for error in the process. I'm getting better at it, though. The first time I made this card design, only two out of four made the cut. When they sold, I made another batch of four and this time three made it. Maybe next time all four make it to Etsy. 🤞🏻
