Welcome to Valley Oak Paper
I design handmade greeting cards.
Tea-riffic Birthday
This is the card I’m creating in today’s video. It has this fun, wobbling effect, created with an action wobbler. I’ll give you tips for helping your mug wobble better in this video. I’m also using Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils to achieve a loose watercolor effect when coloring.
Pinkfresh Side Slider
Turn the project over and test the Slider by gently tugging on the Tab. The Slider should glide up and down along the slit in the Slitted Panel. If it does, you can remove the backing paper from the foam tape and adhere the mechanism to your card front.
Have a Norse Yule
I stamped YULE and the Norse greeting with Versamark and used Lumberjack Plaid Embossing Powder to heat emboss them. Then I cut out the license plate with the die. I used a heat embossing pen around the edges of the license plate and heat embossed them with Ranger Verdigris Embossing Powder.
Interactive Father’s Day Card
Once the glue has set, turn the piece right side up. You should be able to tug at the sliding tab and get the center of the sliding mechanism to fold up. If the mechanism works smoothly, you can remove the release paper from the foam tape and place the mechanism on the card base.
