Haunted Mansion ShakerI filled the shaker well with Kat Scrappiness Silver Bullet Shaker Dots, Sparkling Violet Sequin Mix and Purple Pinwheel Sequin Mix.
-
Made With SnowflakesMy vellum strip was longer than the card panel width, so I bent the edges around the panel and attached them with double-sided tape.
-
Pink MagicI stitched the circle and reindeer nose with three strands of pink variegated floss. The circle segments I stitched with 2 strands of white embroidery floss.
-
Craftoween 2025The die set for day 2 contains 8 dies that create a raven wearing a monocle, bowtie and top hat, while standing on a skull.
-
Santa’s HelpersThe frame I used is Kat Scrappiness Essential Card Builders #3. It creates four rectangular spaces, two small ones and two tall ones. Perfect for staging critters!
-
Introducing FergusStitching is faster and more reliable than gluing. Next time I’ll stitch as much as possible.
-
Autumn Flower CartI want to add some more depth to my composition, so I’m mixing Ground Espresso and Villainous Potion to use as a shadow wash.
-
Variegated Stitched PumpkinsThe Spellbinders Stitching Die Set for September 2025 is a fun top-down view of pumpkins in three different sizes. It’s called Stitched Pumpkin Tops.
-
Missing Tile SympathyI could have used the hexagon die included with the set to create the hole. But I felt that it was too neat. Grief isn’t neat.
-
Peach Pattern PlayWhen I got the September BetterPress Kit of the Month from Spellbinders, I immediately knew that I wanted to play with the patterns.
-
Little FishI used the same silver speckled holographic foil and dark turquoise cardstock for one of the sentiments, “Even little fish make big waves.” It’s such a great sentiment!
-
Reindeer GreetingsFinally I tripled the sentiment and popped it up on some foam tape. That was necessary to bring it to the same level as the deer.
-
Stenciled Emboss ResistBecause I love the bat, I chose “You make me batty.”
-
Turquoise ImpressionI glued the turquoise bottle die cut to the back of the embossed bottle, taking care to only spread glue above the score line. This gave me a shaped card that will stand up on its own.
-
So Many ReindeerI started by stamping all the reindeer from Kat Scrappiness Reindeer Games Stamp Set on watercolor paper. I watercolored them with mostly earth tones.
-
Cheerful KittyMy grey kitty is from Bibi Cameron’s Cheerful Kittens Die Set by Spellbinders. You can find an introduction to the die set in a previous post.
-
Cozy SheepFor the background I used the July Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders. It’s called Frosted Stitch.
-
Nautical MotifsMy idea for this card was to create a faux dip dyed background and then BetterPress over it with a nautical motif.
-
Life’s a Beach ShakerI added the sentiment strip by gluing it to the leaves and added shells and the sand castle to decorate it. Then I adhered the beverage-sipping gnome to the center above the sentiment with foam tape.
-
What’s Up, Gnomie?I started by stamping the male gnome from the Kat Scrappiness Summer Gnomes Stamp Set twice on watercolor paper.
-
Harbor WeaveFor this quick and easy card I used the Spellbinders BetterPress Kit for June 2025. It’s called Harbor Weave. I love the round shapes!
-
Mariner’s WeaveSpellbinders June Clubs are all about the ocean and sea. The Embossing Folder of the Month is called Mariner’s Weave. It makes me think of fancy Nordic sweaters with stitches going in different directions.
-
Cowboy Quokka DadI’m still working my way through the Kat Scrappiness Cowboy Quokka Ephemera Pack. This time I used it for a Father’s Day Card.
-
Rainbow SongbirdsJune is Pride month, so the theme for the Pinkfresh Studio June Challenge is rainbows. I’m going with that theme, but I’ve chosen mostly pale inks for my rainbow.
