Amanda’s Bunnies
First I stamped all four bunnies from Trinity Stamps Baby Bunny Stamp Set a couple of times on Hammermill cardstock with Memento Dye Ink in Rich Cocoa. This is an alcohol marker friendly ink.

Stitchmas: Day 9 – 12
This year I’m co-hosting an Instagram hop using the Spellbinders Stitchmas Advent Calendar. We’re hopping on even days, starting on December 2nd.
-
Stitchmas: Day 5 – 8
I cut the star background from Hammermill Cardstock and the segments from Recollections Gold Foil Cardstock.
-
Stitchmas: Day 1 – 4
My plan was to create round ornaments with my stitched die cuts, using wooden coasters as my base. I started by painting the edges with gold paint.

Sizzix Holiday Giveaway
As an aside, I know this folder is called Leaf Pattern, but I’ve always used it for holiday makes. The pattern looks like evergreen branches to me.

Reindeer Shaker Card
I’m still charmed by Simon Hurley’s Woodland Wildlife Stamp and Die Set. So for an Instagram challenge with a snow globe theme, I watercolored the reindeer from it.
-
Christmas Boutique
When I got this die set I felt kind of meh about it. But now that I’ve created a card with it, I think it’s super cute! It was fun to put together, too.

Giveaway Statistics
On the question if giveaways increase follower counts, I can definitely say yes. My follower count increased on average by 3.78 with each giveaway.
-
Sepia Cauldron
I started by creating the shaker. For this I used the two cauldron dies in the Kat Scrappiness Witches Brew Die Set.
-
No Tricks
I started by stamping the two witches from Trinity Stamps Hocus Pocus Gnomes Stamp Set and coloring them with my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers.

For the Love of Paisley
Paisley is my hands-down favorite abstract pattern! So of course I needed the Glimmer Kit of the Month for June ‘22.
-
Birthday Quokka
This is a pretty straightforward watercolored critter card. For my palette I was inspired by Palette 176 in the Color Cube volume 1.
-
Reindeer Games
The reindeer images were stamped on Hammermill 100 lbs cardstock with brown alcohol-marker-friendly ink and I colored them with my Ohuhu markers.
-
A Stitch in Time
I’m not normally one for vertical writing, but I love the stitched texture of this die. It’s also great for stitching on the go.

Get Your Skates On
The skates are really easy to put together, with no fiddly bits. There’s a base layer, that shows up as the tongue of the boot and part of the heel.

Kat Scrappiness Influencer
About a month ago I applied to join the Kat Scrappiness Influencer Team. I’m super happy to report that I was accepted!

Frosty florals
The main feature of this card is created with the Honey Bee Lovely Layers Amaryllis Die Set. It creates a lush amaryllis plant with a choice of two planters.
-
Single-Layer Gnome Card
The adorable little gnome with her poinsettia is from Trinity Stamps’ From Our Gnome To Yours stamp and die set.

Mistletoe card tutorial
That’s all for this card – now you can sit back and admire the sparkle! ✨

A change will do you good
Stay tuned to find out what I’m going to do with the destash items. It may involve a giveaway or two…
-
Oak Wreath
The next day I created the texture with the Pinkfresh Studio’s Stitches Cover Plate. This had the added bonus of flattening the cardstock after its bath.
-
Whale Thank-You Cards
I cut out the parts of the whale from inexpensive watercolor paper and colored them with Distress Watercolor pencils following photos of humpback whales. The upper part and tail are colored with Black Soot. For the shadows under the whale I used Hickory Smoke.

Pop-Up Tree
The theme for the Instagram hop this Sunday was Butterfly or Bee and Symmetry. I took the chance to use the recent Flowering tree pop-up die set from Spellbinders. It creates a fantastic four-tiered card that folds flat into a regular A2 format. It’s a real stunner and not too hard to pull off.
