Variegated Stitched Pumpkins
The Spellbinders Stitching Die Set for September 2025 is a fun top-down view of pumpkins in three different sizes. It’s called Stitched Pumpkin Tops.
-
Missing Tile Sympathy
I could have used the hexagon die included with the set to create the hole. But I felt that it was too neat. Grief isn’t neat.
-
Peach Pattern Play
When I got the September BetterPress Kit of the Month from Spellbinders, I immediately knew that I wanted to play with the patterns.
-
Little Fish
I used the same silver speckled holographic foil and dark turquoise cardstock for one of the sentiments, “Even little fish make big waves.” It’s such a great sentiment!
-
Reindeer Greetings
Finally I tripled the sentiment and popped it up on some foam tape. That was necessary to bring it to the same level as the deer.
-
Turquoise Impression
I glued the turquoise bottle die cut to the back of the embossed bottle, taking care to only spread glue above the score line. This gave me a shaped card that will stand up on its own.
-
So Many Reindeer
I started by stamping all the reindeer from Kat Scrappiness Reindeer Games Stamp Set on watercolor paper. I watercolored them with mostly earth tones.
-
Cheerful Kitty
My grey kitty is from Bibi Cameron’s Cheerful Kittens Die Set by Spellbinders. You can find an introduction to the die set in a previous post.
-
Nautical Motifs
My idea for this card was to create a faux dip dyed background and then BetterPress over it with a nautical motif.
-
Life’s a Beach Shaker
I added the sentiment strip by gluing it to the leaves and added shells and the sand castle to decorate it. Then I adhered the beverage-sipping gnome to the center above the sentiment with foam tape.
-
What’s Up, Gnomie?
I started by stamping the male gnome from the Kat Scrappiness Summer Gnomes Stamp Set twice on watercolor paper.
-
Mariner’s Weave
Spellbinders June Clubs are all about the ocean and sea. The Embossing Folder of the Month is called Mariner’s Weave. It makes me think of fancy Nordic sweaters with stitches going in different directions.
-
Cowboy Quokka Dad
I’m still working my way through the Kat Scrappiness Cowboy Quokka Ephemera Pack. This time I used it for a Father’s Day Card.
-
Rainbow Songbirds
June is Pride month, so the theme for the Pinkfresh Studio June Challenge is rainbows. I’m going with that theme, but I’ve chosen mostly pale inks for my rainbow.
-
Strawberry Lemonade Birthday Shaker
Shaker Element I started this card with the shaker element. For this I die cut the largest frame from the Kat Scrappiness A2 Reverse Scallop Die Set three times. For the top layer I used a piece of Hammermill that I scribbled with a purple alcohol marker. That’s because I was following Color Cube palette…

Spring Days
This is the last card in this series of cards using the April BetterPress Kit, Post Edge Expression, and the Field Notes 3D Embossing Folder from Spellbinders.
-
Silver & Gold
The background includes three visible layers of cardstock. I felt that this card needed both gold and silver mattes.
-
Cowboy Quokka Mom
I still have lots of Kat Scrappiness Cowboy Quokka Ephemera left! This time I used a cowgirl as my focal point.
-
Blue Note
I dry embossed the Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder Field Notes several times with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide.
-
Wonderful Postage
I created the white outline by using the postage stamp outline from the Spellbinders April 2025 BetterPress Kit of the Month.
-
Mixed Media Smile
First I placed the letter from the Spellbinders April 2025 BetterPress Kit of the Month in the top right corner, inked it up with Versamark and heat embossed it with Ranger Super Fine Detail in Silver.
-
Jaycee’s Wild Joker
The Joker character has many faces, from the Batman movies to the kitschy Pierrot figurines of the 80s. The Spellbinders Wild Joker Die Set is rooted in playing card illustrations.
-
Gorgeous You
This is such a fun, girly die set! It’s called Spellbinders Gorgeous You Makeup and it’s part of the Gorgeous You Collection.

5 by 7 Giveaway
For the focal point of this 5-by-7 card, I used Lisa Horton’s Viola 3D Embossing Folder and Die.
