This week I’ve been busy preparing for the De Anza Flea Market on Saturday. Attendance should be better than last month, because it’s not a holiday weekend and it’ll be less hot.

I’ve made lots more wedding cards, because people asked about those last month. Most of what doesn’t sell this weekend will end up on Etsy. But if there’s something specific you’re interested in, let me know. I’ll be more than happy to set it aside for you. Paying customers come first. After that, some things will be diverted to the Unique Boutique jury and other potential venues IRL and online.

Part of the preparations was to put up the pop-up tent in my driveway. I thought it was better to figure out how to put it up on my own when I had plenty of time and was fully awake. Hopefully set up tomorrow will go smoothly, even though I have to get up at o’dark thirty.

Another new thing I’m bringing is a rechargeable fan. That will hopefully keep me more comfortable than last month. Most likely I’ll clamp it to one of my chairs or the table. I also got a second display stand. They’re meant for jewelry but they work great for displaying cards and they’re easy to transport and set up.

I’ll be in the same location as last month, O45. See the map below. Would love to see you all there!
