B♥️ Mine - Clean & Simple Valentine

For this card I used the MFT Vanity License Plate Alphabet Stamp Set and MFT Vanity License Plate Die. I have so many ideas for how to use these! How about a 🍕PIZZA, 🎂 HBD, 🐻 BEAR, 🦌 DEER or 🐋 WHALE license plate?

The plate leaves room for a critter or several on the card, so you can use all your punny critter sentiments too. Stamps for the registration stickers and “Have a nice day” are also included, if you want to make the plate more realistic.

Background

My card front is pink cardstock from Recollections Ballerina Cardstock Pack. I repeatedly stamped B❤️MINE diagonally across it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide. I started from the bottom and moved up by 1.25” after each impression. Then I cut it down to 3.75” by 5”. I stabilized it by gluing a 3.5” by 4.75” piece of Accent Opaque 100 lbs to the back.

License Plate

I die cut a license plate twice out of Accent Opaque 100 lbs for stability and glued them together. Then I stamped B❤️MINE on the front with Distress Oxide Festive Berries. I tested out all the different reds and felt that Festive Berries went best with the pinks.

I adhered the stamped license plate to the card front with foam tape. Then I added a foiled Valentine’s Day sub sentiment that was left over from a previous project. It’s from Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Set My Heart Smiles.

Assembly

All that remained to do was to adhere the card front to the top-folding card base. I finished by scattering pink enamel dots across the card.
