Haunted Mansion Shaker

🦇 Visual product list

I really like the combination of this Kat Scrappiness stencil and cover die. The stencil is called Hats & Bats. The die is called Haunted House on the Hill. This time I stenciled with Kat Scrappiness Glitter Mousse in Black Night.

Shaker Element

The next day I die cut my background and saved the three large background pieces. Then I die cut the Haunted House two more times from silver holographic cardstock and purple cardstock.

I colored an A2-sized piece of Accent Opaque with an orange marker. Then I glued the plain purple die cut on top and inlaid the stenciled background pieces. This will form the back wall of the shaker.

Next I glued the silver holographic die cut to the back of the stenciled die cut, but offset a bit to the left.

To create the front of my shaker card, I applied double-sided tape on the back of the holographic die cut and adhered a piece of acetate. Then I created the shaker well by adding foam tape to the back of the acetate.

I filled the shaker well with Kat Scrappiness Silver Bullet Shaker Dots, Sparkling Violet Sequin Mix and Purple Pinwheel Sequin Mix. Then I removed the release paper from the foam tape and adhered the back wall to the shaker element.

Sentiment

I die cut the word die from Kat Scrappiness Happy Halloween Word Dies With Shadow once from silver holographic cardstock and twice from Accent Opaque. Then I stacked them and glue them to the bottom of the shaker element.

Finally I glued the shaker element with the sentiment to the front of a white card base.
