I created this card for an Instagram birthday hop for my friend Amanda.
Bunnies
First I stamped all four bunnies from Trinity Stamps Baby Bunny Stamp Set a couple of times on Hammermill cardstock with Memento Dye Ink in Rich Cocoa. This is an alcohol marker friendly ink.
Then I colored the bunnies in four different colorways to figure out which one I preferred for the card. See the table below for the Ohuhu markers I used.
I preferred the white bunny, so then I colored all four bunnies on another stamp impression in white/light grey. When that was done, I cut out the bunnies with the coordinating die set. I cut two additional layers of Accent Opaque and stacked them for dimension.
Background
In my Backgrounds Box I found a background with small snowflakes heat embossed with Distress Embossing Glaze in Speckled Egg. To match the pink on my bunny noses, I ink blended on it with Pinkfresh Inks in Ballet Slipper and Cherry Blossom. Then I matted it with a dusty blue to match the snowflakes. Finally I adhered it to my card base with foam tape.
Sentiment
I stamped and heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Baby Bunny Stamp Set in Distress Embossing Glaze Speckled Egg. Then I cut it out with the coordinating die and stacked two more die cuts behind it for stability.
Assembly
I glued three of my bunnies directly to the background in a triangle shape. Then I popped up the sentiment on some foam tape between them. Finally I scattered some Spellbinders Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems across the card to draw the eye to the sentiment.
