I created these shark cards for a Shark Week Cardmaking Hop.
To create the bottle-shaped cards, I used Spellbinders Whale in a Bottle Die Set. The background is watercolor paper from my Box of Backgrounds. I splattered the backgrounds liberally with Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bleedproof White Fine Art Paint, Distress Mica Spray Stains Snow Flurries and Distress Mica Spray Stains Hocus Pocus.

When the splatter had dried, I backed the watercolor paper with Accent Opaque 100 lbs for stability. I also used some coral and seaweed from the Spellbinders die set.

The other half of the card is Accent Opaque 120 lbs. I die cut it with the bottle base die and scored it along the long end at 0.5”. Then I glued only the top part to the back of the front panel.

The shark and friends are from a Lawn Fawn Stamp and Die Set called Shark Duh-Nuh Flip Flop. I colored them with my Distress Watercolor Pencils.
The enameled dots are by Pinkfresh Studios. I also used Spellbinders Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems. Other bling is from my stash.
